I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
A few years ago, Erica introduced me to her cousin Ragan and his wife Sarah. They were wedding photographers in San Antonio and at the time all I had was a camera, very little experience, and a dream. Not only would Ragan and Sarah become two of my closest friends, but they also became my mentors. Because of them, I fell in love with weddings, and ta-da! Here we are!
When Erica’s name popped up on my phone screen a few months ago, I was overcome with a mix of excitement and nervousness all at the same time. I knew that she had just gotten engaged to Danny a few weeks before. With a cousin like Ragan, I know that her photography standards are high, was she calling ME to talk about photographing her wedding?! She was, and y’all, I may have done the most ridiculous happy dance after we chatted on the phone. I am so excited and honored that Danny and Erica have chosen me to photograph their big day next summer!
But before we get to their big day, it’s engagement session time! Even though I already know Erica and Danny, it is so good to have them in front of the camera together before the wedding day. We met at Cibolo Nature Center on a warm October evening and chased the golden light as we explored the park. These two were all smiles and laughs the whole time. They made my job so easy! Also, I LOVED the outfits that Danny and Erica chose for their session. The fall colors went perfectly with the golden trees and tall grass that lit up in the evening sun!
