I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
I love getting to know my clients at their consultation meeting and engagement session. It’s the perfect way to get to know them and to make sure we are a good fit for their big day. Every once in a while though, I feel like I met a long lost friend instead of a new client. Ashley and I did talk about some wedding details at her meeting. If I was being completely honest though, we did spend the majority of the time sharing crazy stories and talking about The Bachelor! It’s a match made in heaven!
Ashley and Ryan’s engagement session at The Pearl was scheduled just a day before Hurricane Harvey was expected to make landfall in Texas. It had been raining all day and the forecast wasn’t looking good, but we decided to go for it anyway! Lucky for us, the rain cleared up just in time for their session. It all worked out perfectly. During the session, Ryan started to get calls on his work phone informing him that they would be dispatching him to the coast with the H-E-B Disaster Relief team later that weekend. I am so thankful that I get to work with clients like Ryan and Ashley. Thank you both for serving our community and helping where you can!
I hope y’all enjoy some of my favorites from their session! I can’t wait until their big day in March!
