I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
If you were to sit down and have coffee with any photographer, I guarantee they can tell you about some of their very first photo shoots. It might have been a shoot with their dog, friend or family member. There were probably some feelings of “what the heck am I doing?” and “I wonder what this M means…”. Regardless of how nervous we were or how the photos came out, it was the beginning of a whole new chapter in our lives. For me, when I think back to those early days where all I had was my Nikon D3200 and a dream, Lauren and Ev were there. They have been by my side since day one, and I am so incredibly grateful for that.
I remember it like it was yesterday. I’m pretty sure my text said something along the lines of “Sooo do you want to go be my model in some bluebonnets so I can practice?”. Lauren said yes without hesitation and we found a tiny patch of bluebonnets to play in on the access road of 1604. Lauren and Ev let me be a part of buying their very first home, their proposal, their engagement (twice), Couples Shower, and even their wedding festivities. These two have been in it with me through thick and thin and through every part of my journey.
For their one year anniversary, we made our way to the beautiful Allen Farmhaus in New Braunfels for an anniversary session. We explored the venue, played with some farm kitties, and had an amazing time. I’ve said it already, but I’ll say it again. I am so grateful for these two.
Thank you, Lauren and Ev. Thank you for believing in me even before I believed in myself.
