I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
Typically for engagement sessions, the only time we will reschedule is if its pouring rain. Even if there is a slight drizzle, sometimes we will brave the elements and have fun in the rain (like at Brittany and Pat’s engagement session!). But when I took a look at the weather forecast on the morning of Jordan and Stephen’s engagement session, I had second thoughts about my rule. The expected high was in the 20’s and it was going to be cloudy, so not even a little bit of sunlight to warm us up! I sent Jordan and email asking if they wanted to brave the elements and they did. And you know what? It was totally worth it.
If you’ve been around for a little while, you know that I love Cibolo Nature Center. As much as I love it, other photographers in the area do too! The place normally has quite a few people around, making some favorite spots hard to get to. With this cold weather though, the entire park was empty. Not a single person was in sight! It was almost creepy in a way, but at the same time, it was amazing!! When you see the photos, you can’t even tell that Jordan and Stephen were FREEZING! Lucky for them, they brought their beautiful quilt with them so they could at least warm up for a while!
I hope you love their engagement session at Cibolo Nature Center!
