I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
They’re back! You may remember Cat and Derek from their engagement session in the wildflower field that I posted last summer. I’m so excited to finally be sharing their gorgeous autumn wedding day with you!
Cat and Derek are one of the sweetest couples I have worked with, and their day was filled with precious moments and meaningful details. From their special blind “first-look” to say a prayer together before the ceremony, to Cat’s brother walking her part way down the aisle where her Dad walked her the rest of the way, it was one of those weddings where I was glad I was wearing waterproof mascara! The beautiful merlot bridesmaid dresses paired with white bouquets were the perfect complement to the rustic venue and golden hues that this Texas November had for us.
I still have to pinch myself when I think of all the incredible moments that I get to be a part of. I know that I say it a lot, but it is truly an honor to be part of a legacy like Cat and Derek’s. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Hammons for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
Beautiful weddings like this aren’t possible without the hardworking vendors and their talents!
