I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
One thing that I love about my job is that every single day is different. This is especially true when it comes to wedding days! On these days, I feel like I get a small peek into the lives of my couple. I get a glimpse into their style and their personality just by looking at the carefully picked details. When Rosie and Alex got engaged, they decided that they wanted to do something small with their closest family and friends. Even though it wasn’t a large wedding, there was no shortage of beautifully thought out details and impeccable style!
Rosie and Alex’s wedding came right as Texas experienced it’s first cold front of the season. The 50 degree weather is something most Texans would consider freezing, but the warm sun made it perfect for their outdoor ceremony. Rosie and Alex’s friends and family all came together to get everything set up in Rosie’s Mom’s beautiful backyard. Their ceremony was full of heartfelt vows and meaningful traditions and just like that, they were married!
Even though I was there for only a few hours, it was very important to Rosie that her an Alex had some dedicated time for portraits together. We jumped in the golf cart and made our way to a secluded park area near the house. The location was perfect and we had the most beautiful golden light! I couldn’t have asked for a better evening for this gorgeous couple!
