It was a warm and rainy November morning. Puddles were growing in the asie of the outdoor ceremony site. Emily’s mom anxiously wiped down every chair as the rain drizzled on it. Rainy wedding days typically mean a very stressed out bride. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I rolled my gear toward the cabin that held the bridal suite. When I opened the door, I was hugged by a bubbly bride who wasn’t going to let the weather rain on her parade!

Emily was in the best spirits all day. She sipped her mimosa and laughed with her girls. She was going to marry the love of her life today, and nothing else mattered. As the girls finished their hair and makeup, I stood with Emily at the entry to her bridal suite. “Are you sure you’re okay going out in the rain?” I asked her. She didn’t skip a beat and excitedly said “YES!” as we walked her out for her first look with Alex. Just in time for Emily to walk down the aisle, the rain ceased and the sun came out for their sweet ceremony!

One of the first things I learned about Emily and Alex was their love for Disney. Like any true Disney fan, Emily incorporated hidden Mickey’s throughout the ceremony and reception decor! I bet you can’t guess where they are going on their honeymoon!
