I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
Let me tell you a little bit about how Ashley and I got to where we are now. Jeremy and Sari’s wedding had just passed and Jeremy’s sister-in-law had passed my info along to her coworker, Ashley. Ashley scheduled a meeting with me and we met at a Starbucks like any client meeting. After only a few minutes of talking to Ashley, I realized that not only did I want to photograph this girl’s wedding, but I wanted to be real life friends! We sat in that Starbucks for TWO HOURS talking about her and Ryan’s story, psycho girls in our lives, and most importantly, The Bachelor. I came home that night and told my husband all about Ashley. I said to him, “she’s the kind of girl I want to go get margaritas and queso with!”. So from that point forward, she became my “queso bride” in the Richardson household.
In true queso bride fashion, Ashley sent me a snapchat while she was at her dress fitting. Y’all, I about cried. Ashley’s Hayley Paige gown was INCREDIBLE, and she looked amazing in it. JUST LOOK AT THOSE RUFFLES Y’ALL!! While we were at her bridal session at Lost Mission, it took everything I had to not make her twirl the WHOLE TIME. We, of course, got a few twirls in, but I could have had her do it the whole time! It was just amazing! Ashley also wore a few special “something borrowed” pieces at her bridal session and her wedding. Her necklace was her grandparent’s 50 anniversary necklace, and her long veil had been passed on from two friends. It was such a perfect bridal session, and I can’t WAIT for you to see more from their wedding day!
