I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
I can’t believe this week is already here! In just a few short days, we will be Mexico bound to celebrate with Shauna and Nick because they are getting MARRIED!!! When they asked me to join them for their big day almost a year ago, it felt like this day was SO FAR away. But here we are. Bags are starting to get packed and we are so excited! To celebrate their wedding week, here are some favorites from their engagement session at The Pearl!
I love photographing engagement sessions. They are the perfect way for my couples to “warm up” in front of the camera before their big day. Even though I’ve known Shauna and Nick for years, I wanted them to experience a photo session before we made our way to Mexico. I’m so glad that we did, because now we have these photos and they can RELAX on their wedding day! There will be no uncomfortable photo jitters from these two!
We made our way to the beautiful Historic Pearl on a warm Wednesday evening. Even though it was pretty hot (welcome to Texas), the light was perfect. I loved that these two chose outfits that not only fit the location that we were in, but it also looks like something they would wear on the sandy beaches in Mexico! The pop of red from Shauna skirt is giving me all the heart eyes. I love it!
I hope y’all love this session as much as I do. I can’t wait to share the photos from our trip once we are home!
