An Elegant Engagement Session at the Eilan Hotel & Spa in San Antonio, TX | San Antonio Wedding Photographer

One thing that I love about working in the wedding industry is that no two couples are alike. Some couples love bold and bright colors, and others love pastels. Some love rustic barns and big open fields and other couples opt in for a more classic and elegant vibe.  It’s so fun to see a couple’s personality shine through as they choose details for their big day and their engagement session!

Katrina & James wanted their engagement session to feel a bit more elegant and classic. After talking through multiple locations, they had visited the Eilan Hotel & Spa and the surrounding area full of shops and fell in love with it and said it was perfect for their engagement photos. When I met them there for their session, my jaw dropped when I saw them dressed in their formal wear. They looked SO GOOD! They were absolutely right, this location was perfect for what they were going for.

These two were incredible right off the bat. With very little direction from me, they jumped in, held each other close and completely embraced the moment. We dodged bridal parties and explored gazebos and gardens. It was so great to get to know Katrina and James a little better, which is a big reason why I LOVE it when couples schedule an engagement session! Now, they are seasoned pros for their November wedding at NOAHS!
