A Summer Engagement Session at Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne, TX | San Antonio Wedding Photographer

Summer is officially in full swing! Here in Texas that means 90+ degree days, 80+% humidity, and the most gorgeous sunsets we could possibly ask for that make those first two totally worth it for shooting engagement sessions! One of the first sessions of the summer season was with Abi and Matt – a fun couple who I met through Andrea, a former DES bride!

We made our way to the beautiful Cibolo Nature Center on a warm weekday evening for Abi and Matt’s engagement session. Even though we had to dodge the many hikers (and drinkers) at Trail of Ales that evening, our session went perfectly. The park was drenched in golden light and Abi and Matt’s outfit choice popped so perfectly against the golden backdrop. It didn’t take long for these two to become pros in front of the camera. Abi’s infectious smile and the way Matt looked at his soon-to-be bride was such a joy to capture. I am so honored to capture a love story like theirs!

Abi and Matt are planning a beautiful spring wedding at The Marquardt Ranch in March and I feel so lucky to be able to capture their day. March will be here before we know it, but until then, I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session!
