I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
It wasn’t the gorgeous colors, location, or pretty details that made the Copper & Cotton styled shoot one of my favorites, it was the incredible people I got to work with! These vendors have turned into some of my closest friends, and thanks to their hard work and talent, this shoot has been featured on Wedding Wire, Lace & Loyalty, and Borrowed and Blue. Isn’t that amazing?! I thought it was time to finally share it on my own blog!
There is a special energy that rural farmland brings – a slight breeze, acres and acres of land, and the occasional longhorn in the distance. Our wonderful vendors worked together to turn the vast farmland into the perfect backdrop for a rustic yet elegant styled shoot. Beautiful florals in blush and copper paired with a stunning dress and a newlywed couple brought the rustic countryside to life.
The inspiration for this shoot came from the rustic Texas autumn scenery. Fellow photographer and friend, Breanna McKendrick, who is new to Texas, fell in love with the vast farmland and wanted to put together something that highlighted the natural colors and beauty of the Texas landscape. We chose copper coloring to give a rustic vibe while adding blush for elegance. Kelsea, our wedding coordinator vendor, helped us turn our ideas into reality and even let us use her acres of land for our shoot. Isn’t that location STUNNING?!
