Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I’m at a photo session. As I was exploring the vast farm land that Jennifer and Robbie call home, I had one of those moments. “Is this real life?!”, I found myself thinking. The acres of land that surrounded us was so surreal and peaceful. It was the perfect setting for this gorgeous couple’s engagement session.

I first met Jennifer and Robbie at a wedding consultation meeting on the far south side of San Antonio. The couple lives about 80 miles south of the city, so this was still a bit of a trek for them. The more amazing thing is Jenn actually commutes to work in San Antonio every day! At first, I couldn’t believe she made that commute every day. But after making the drive to their beautiful home, I completely understand why they have planted their roots there. I don’t think I realized how hectic living in the city is until I was standing in a field without another person or car in sight. Surreal is the only way to describe it.

These two are getting married this November and I am so honored and excited to make my way back down to this beautiful part of the world for their HUGE wedding! We are talking hundreds of guests, y’all!
