I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
Guys, I can’t tell you how excited I am to finally post these photos! This session is a bit of a Throwback Thursday post, since I took these almost a year ago. This session has been in a queue for publishing for a wedding blog for some time, but unfortunately that blog needed to close up shop for a few months and they released this session as a result. So, here they are!
I met Kristine at Texas Tech just before I graduated, and we both started working at USAA after leaving Lubbock. We kept in touch over the next few years with occasional lunches together at work. When she and Weston got engaged, she asked me about doing a bit of an unusual shoot. Her idea was to travel around to different places in San Antonio that her and Weston shared a memory at, and they would take a photo with a large number to use as their table numbers at their wedding. Um, YES!!
We spent a Saturday morning jumping from place to place in downtown San Antonio, posing with the large white numbers. We got creative with their locations and poses and got a lot of attention and questions from bystanders!
These table numbers add such a personal touch to their wedding day. I really love the result, and I hope this inspires others to do something similar at their weddings.
Most importantly, congratulations to Kristine and Weston on your beautiful wedding! I know it was forever ago, but still, I’m so happy for y’all!
