I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
My weekends lately have been jam packed with photo sessions, editing, and learning the ins and outs of running a photography business. This summer, as my schedule was filling up, my dad suggested taking a trip to Lubbock for a football game and some family time at my alma mater in the fall. We picked a date and I protected that November weekend with all my might – and I’m glad I did!
Andrew, Dolly and I arrived in Lubbock and knocked on my sister’s apartment door, expecting to be greeted by my dad. When the door opened, not only was my dad there, but also my mom and her husband! WHAT?! It had been months since I saw my mom last – what an awesome surprise!
Our weekend consisted of fun at the piano bar, a WIN for the Red Raiders, and too much Fireball. My sister’s roommates also had family in town, which made for cozy sleeping conditions, but never a dull moment. The weekend went by way too quickly, but it was time well spent with family and friends.
