The moment the dance floor opens during a reception, I’m out there. Country, Hip-Hop, Classic Rock, you name it. I’ll dance to it! There are a handful of line dances that play at nearly every single wedding. They are a blast and will definitely fill up your dance floor! Sometimes though, these iconic dances are a flop because you don’t know the moves. Have no fear though, here are 7 dances you need to know for your wedding day, plus a video tutorial for each one!

Cupid Shuffle

A wedding day classic and a perfect beginner dance for everyone!

The Wobble

The Wobble is always a crowd favorite. If you want to fill up your dance floor quickly, make sure this one is on your playlist!

Electric Slide

This one is a classic and a staple on most wedding days!

Copperhead Road

For all of my Texas couples, this one is a must! Copperhead Road is definitely a crowd favorite for any country lover!

Footloose

Ahhh, Footloose! One of my favorites! This high energy dance is always a tough one though because most don’t actually know the dance. They kind of do a couple of grapevines, heel clicks, and foot slaps until it works. Don’t worry friends, I got you! Now you can learn it too!

Git Up

The Git Up is new to the wedding scene, but it’s one of my new favorites. Especially because you can do it with a drink in hand!

Tush Push

Okay, so this one is one of my personal favorites and I’d LOVE to see it at weddings more! Try doing it to Trace Adkin’s “T-R-O-U-B-L-E”. It’s a blast!
