I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to La Vernia, TX where my friend, Rachel, owns a cheerleading gym – Rah Rahs Cheerleading. She told me her little ones were performing during halftime at a local high school football game and asked if I’d come take some photos for her. I am so glad that I did. This session was one of my favorites to date.
I was blown away by how many young ladies were there, all dressed up, and ready to perform. Ponytails high with a big bow on top, some were excited and others were nervous. Coach Rachel eased their nerves with pep-talks, high fives, and hugs. Rachel with her other coaches by her side led the girls to the field, where even the ones who weren’t so sure about being in the spotlight lit up. They cheered their hearts out and received cheers from the crowd in response. They did it.
Coach Rachel, keep encouraging these beautiful girls.
Keep on dreaming, sweet girls.
