I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
These best of 2017 posts are so fun and I love that this is the third time I’ve been able to do them! (See 2015 and 2016). 2017 is a little different though, because for the first time, I have WAY too many photos for one post! We shot nearly 100 sessions and weddings this year, so I’m going to do a separate best of 2017 for portraits and weddings!
2017 was a year of learning and growth for Dawn Elizabeth Studios. One thing that we learned along the way is how important it is to focus on what we do best. For me, this means weddings and portraits that go along with weddings! We spent a ton of 2017 at bridal, engagement and boudoir sessions, but a few family, maternity and anniversary sessions snuck in there too! So grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and check out some of my favorites from portrait session this year!
You will spend a lifetime together, but you are only engaged for a short while. I LOVE the joy and excitement felt at an engagement session!
You can’t forget their new bling! 😉
I got to photograph some precious anniversaries too. Some were celebrating their first year as husband and wife, and others were celebrating thirty years!
Every once in a while, I can squeeze in a family session. Friends, document this precious time. It will be gone before you know it.
You can’t forget the seniors 🙂
But my favorite photos are those special moments that I was able to freeze in time.
But this one may have been the most special of all.
What an amazing year it has been.
So let's take our new relationship offline and meet face-to-face for hugs and a warm beverage!
