A Grey and Navy Wedding at The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages | Fredericksburg Wedding Photographer

It’s always such an honor when I get to be part of a family’s story more than once. It was over two years ago when I met the Heintzelman family. Leslie and Jeff booked me for their wedding day and this awesome family has been cheering me on since! Fast forward to just a week ago and I am photographing her sister Lauren’s wedding at the Lodge at Country Inn Cottages! This family is near and dear to my heart and it is so fun to document a special time for them again! 

Lauren and Dan are the relaxed and go with the flow type and it was wonderful. They just wanted to have a great day with their friends and family and that’s exactly what they got! Not to mention, their day was stunning! We started our day at the venue and then took the most adorable trolley over to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. This church, y’all. Holy gorgeous! After their ceremony and some photos in the prayer garden, we made our way back to the lodge. From there, they danced the night away, ate pie (and BBQ and Wataburger… YUM), and had an amazing night!

So funny story… Dan’s groomsmen Ilan and I go way back to my Apple days. (10 years ago!) Talk about a surprise when I saw him in the groom suite!
