I’m a twenty-something wedding photographer in Texas who photographs couples who are ready to celebrate their marriage. Building my business has been one hell of a ride, so grab a cup of coffee (or some wine - no judgement here) and join me for my life behind the lens.
It seems like forever ago when Amanda and I connected online. We chatted via FaceTime about her upcoming wedding at Zedler Mill and how it was going to be relaxed and a ton of fun. There would be pizza and beer and no shortage of crazy dance moves on her big day. Well friends, her and Patrick’s day was exactly that and more. It was an absolute BLAST!
I’m going to be totally honest here. When Amanda said that her colors were “purple and champagne and everyone picked out their own dress”, I had NO idea what to expect. When I arrived on their wedding day though, my jaw dropped at how GORGEOUS those purple and champagne hand selected dresses were! Amanda and her girls knocked it out of the part with this one. The neutral purple and champagne sequins was perfectly paired with bouquets of succulents, roses and dusty miller. To top it off, that incredible color pallet was stunning against the Zedler Mill’s rustic scenery. I loved Amanda’s vision so much, I already ordered a giant print of her bridal party for my office!
We had beautiful blue skies all day at the Zedler Mill. Before the ceremony, Amanda and Patrick shared a blind first look. In this precious few minutes, they exchanged letters and had a chance to chat before they were finally married. Once the jitters were relieved, Amanda and Patrick said “I Do” surrounded by their closest friends and family on the bank of the San Marcos River. They all enjoyed pizza and beer and danced the night away, just like Amanda had wanted!
